These days....

No grad advisor in sight :( All I hear is

• You can't work outside the department
• He takes only Fellowship students
• 'I am not looking for graduate students right now'

I give up.
And most importantly, I will not entertain any more queries about what I am planning to do in grad school. I am as clueless as you are about graduate studies in Materials Science. I just hope I don't give up at UIUC.

The diagnosis:
eyes: insect bite
ears: infection
teeth: infection due to fkin food particles. and yeah... the diagnosis includes the mandatory removal of teeth... 2 in my case
Am keeping a close watch on the health of my other sensory organs.

I think I have OCD.

I have finally memorised the lyrics of 'Give me up again' by Jonny Lang... by brute force :D

I still worry abt X. Hopefully, he has left behind his pots for good. How I wish self control was proportional to intellect.

I still curse our shameless politicians. Most recently, for the office of profit bill and the hike in petrol prices.

• Congress and CPI say that they oppose the increase in fuel prices. Wtf? Are we fools to buy this bullcrap?
• They are planning to resend the office of profit bill (without any changes) to the President and claim that nothing is wrong since it was passed in Parliament(which is the 'voice of the people'.... lol) . Indian politicians couldn't have acted more shamelessly.
• I almost puked in my living room the day before, when I listened to what Uditi Raj had to say in 'The Big Fight' for bringing in reservation. Sad. Actually, I am happy that my education in India is over.

I think I should just quit following Indian politics. Its full of morons and I for one, am just wasting my time and losing my temper too often.

Btw, do you think some rich kid's foray into drugs and his near death experiences warrant 3 full days of media coverage?
